A 1.2km cycleway runs through Kooragang City Farm beside the mangroves and
saltmarsh that line the north arm of the Hunter River and past
historic farmhouse ruins. A picnic table in the garden of these
ruins makes an ideal resting spot. This cycleway continues
along
the river taking you around the rest of the Kooragang Wetlands, Ash
Island.
At Riverside Park there is a jetty and open area with basic
picnic facilities.
