Salvinia molesta, a noxious aquatic weed which had infested Wollombi Brook for 20 years, is making a re-appearance after being flushed from the Brook by the floods of the June long weekend in 2007. The weed has been detected in dams and backwaters in the Wollombi area. [view full details]
