Champions of the Catchments Awards NOW OPEN
Hunter Region Landcare Network Inc.and the Hunter-Central Rivers Catchment Management Authority are in search of dedicated environmental and natural resource management carers from the Central Coast, Hunter Valley and Lower North Coast to become our region’s Champions of the Catchments.
Our region has many dedicated volunteers, organisations and groups who work tirelessly for our environment. The awards are an opportunity for our community to acknowledge their work and achievements and to inspire others to become involved.
The Champions of the Catchments awards recognise individual and group activities. A total of $500 prize money is up for grabs in each category. The CMA will also automatically enter winners into the State Landcare Awards, to be announced in Newcastle in September. Nominations close Monday 6 May 2013.
